Church in ACTION

On every fifth Sunday, we move outside of the 4 walls of the church building…. WE TAKE IT TO THE STREETS! We worship by working in the communities at a selected ministry, like Coalition for the Homeless, local shelters, or even public schools. See our website for further details.

Five Loaves and Two Fish

Five Loaves and Two Fish provides food to families and individuals in transition after worship service on Sundays. We don’t just feed the body but minister to the whole person through prayer, calls/visits during the week, connecting them to community resources and to the ministries here at LWCC. We also Partner with Seminole County Public Schools to provide summer meals to children in need of nutrition when school is out.

Alex’s Closet

Alex’s Closet is a ministry that allows members to donate their “Store Bucks” to help furnish clothing for underprivileged youth in our community to shop for back to school clothes with limited or no funds. Many of the recipients are homeless teenagers or students whose parents can not afford to buy clothes.

You can help us by donating your new clothes, or Store Bucks (like Kohl’s or JC Penny’s). This will allow us to keep the racks full of new clothing items.

Internet Café

More than just a place to gather, LWCC Café offers the community an opportunity to take monthly computer classes, students to complete homework and families in transition to apply for services offered in our community.
